pop up

i always get this "firefox prevented a pop up..."

i don't recall seeing one before?

If you get that message on this site, you probably are getting a pop-up notifying you that you have received a private message. Either turn that option off in your profile, or set FireFox to accept pop-up from this site.

If you get that message from other sites, then it is only doing it's job. There should be an option in the prefences that allows you to disable that message.

I would think that's a good thing; I believe it means that FireFox is preventing adds from popping up on your screen. You can always reverse the action by going in to Tools and changing it. I personally welcome that because I don't have to deal with those silly adds.
