you've no idea what a treasure trove you've opened up for me!

i don't know if you saw my comment about paul pott sounding a lot like jussi björling, but i found some of his stuff on youtube thanks to your link, and yes, he does:

Thanks indeed!

I've seen Madame Butterfly performed in theatre once and that was just amazinf, this tiny little asian women..and then she started to sing..what a hurricane of sound, just brilliant.
Don't you hate it being in an utter good mood?

really enjoyed this pilvikki, what a voice....and yes Paul Potts is very like him

funniest thing i ever saw at an opera was when aida had finished singing and her white dress was all brown from the body make-up that came off her hands...

another time amneris' dress got unhinged and she had to sing and hang on for dear life.
