I don't understand what would make them describe the body as mummified. Surely it would decompose just like any other body, causing an incredible smell in the process.

Yeah, how the hell didn't the wife smell a decomposing body in the garage? Also, i always laugh at the conspiracy theorists at times like this, yeah the Commies took him away in a black limousine. :roll:

Speculating here ~ Maybe his body was preserved from overdosing on the schnaps. It's can be a great preservitative.

"mumified" doesn´t smell as far as I know and there is alot of natural occurences that help mumification, like alcohol, dry air and so on...
