Yep... They're okay if you don't have to walk... I think I've actually got a couple of 5" heels... They hurt a lot too... And they are NOT easy to walk stairs in... But of course, they're in leather *g*

steel tends to be less giving and forgiving. and those platforms... are they solid? if so, they weight a ton and they'd make great bucking bars if anyone does any rivetting...

if they aren't solid, then they would get bumps, whouldnt they?

gee, and I don't even think high heels in general look comforting. I would be very impressed indeed if I saw someone dance salsa or swing in those shooes... gracefully... without damage....

how about just an aluminum alloy? cheaper, less weight and no worries about sticking to the fridge....

titanium? that is such nasty stuff to work with they'd charge a fortune to manufacture on top of the material.
