By all means, as long as you love cats and have the sense (I'm sure you do) to take care of it.

Cats live for some 12 to 16 years (both of mine were 16 humanoid years when they passed away) so be prepared for a commitment. Fleas. Cat Flu. Vet bills. Love on their terms (not yours). Smelly cat food. Warm ankles and hot laps. Purring in your ear. A sentient, intelligent critter waiting at home for you. Litter trays. Great games in the dark with bits of string and scraps of newspaper. Stroking your cat - absolutely the most wonderful sensation in the world.

I used to have six... the last two but one ( they were 19 and brothers ) died in the past year.
I have one left.. and dont want to hurt her feelings I am not sure.. I think she would be happier once
she gets used to the idea....

I worked for a vet for seven years.... so I am wall aware.
I just wish I could discuss it with morgan....

if your kitty is used to old room mates, maybe a full grown cat, one more sedate? depending on how lively your puss is.

i never get kittens.. usually adopt more unadoptable , older kitties...
or in morgan's case.. they were going to put her down after a serious injury...
i got them to gve her to me.
but since morgan was the last one in .....
and because of the way she is (spoiled, pampered, loved to bits)

i am hoping that a kitten will be the ticket.. and that she will take care of her and love on her...

I am still in a quandary

silly. I used to take them in and tell my kitties to get over it

but I am so afraid of upsetting morgan...
I know that she is mine for a reason...

but she seems lonely...........
