The poet sketched a love picture in the waves flowing over the stars whilst the feathers whispered amongst the keys to life...

life tumbles out of my pocket faster than i can pick up the pieces. so i just pick up the crumbs and let the big chunks go on sailing. unless of course the tide is high. then it's time to send the cows home in the purple light and paste sleep buttons along the edges of volcanic rims.

"no more!" they cried for they had had their fill of the senselessness of politics.

Aye VS and as they watched the politicians mumble meaninglessly into the wind, the beautiful cattle moo'd and just wished for happier times, knowing full well that their time would come....eventually.....

To the crowds' immense delight he was able to manage seventeen crumpets before the eighteenth lodged in his throat resulting in an exquisite swan song, making everyone feel their money was quite well spent.

it was indeed a strange new world. after unpacking they found they were all there. every last nation represented. not just the minor leaders but the big wind leaders from the top and on down to the little zephyrs that spouted top hollering and minor abilities. every last one of them delighted with themselves to be on such an immensely important mission to sort things out for the world. every last one of them delighted from the bottom of their financial pockets to the top of their insatiable satisfaction with their own power which in many cases had been given them by the very people who now provided them with such luxury. ok, a few had taken that power and position by domination, corruption or out numbering military strategies but sama sama, they were there. and beginning to grin with the knowledge that the one way tickets provided by the people they governed meant they would have to stay for a very long time in this strange new world that had taken them a week to get to by the luxury space liner where they had each had exclusive suites of the most comfortable life style and services by automation and robotic ingenuity. . . where... wait a minute... where... where... wait a minute... where the windows were screens of beautiful scenery. multitudes of tranquil lands and even people, smiling people, grinning people, happy people. people co-operating and getting along. people and lands and animals from every where... from... from... from every where on their own home planet, Earth...

I'm beginning to sense that Doug Adams has taken up residence within our esteemed islander's spirit. What a 1da that is to behold.

(a joke that's been going around lately)

The Pope, a bear, a rabbi, a pirate, a diplomat, a midget, a woman in a coma, a pelican, and your mom were all relaxing on an Eames chair after a furious fortnight of group hate sex when there was a sound at the door. "Knock-knock" went the sound emanating from the door. Simultaneously, and without missing a beat, an answer broke like a desperate yowl from the throats of the oigers: "Who's there?" Like a shot from the butt gun of a pre-radicalized 1920's anarchist, came a response from beyond the door: "Banana." Faster than a duck could rape a lizard in the mouth, our motley crew of freakazoids, safely ensconced in the luxury of their designer seatlery, shook their heads and bleated as a unit, "Orange you glad we've already heard this joke and so shan't be participating (unless of course you are offering substantial financial renumeration)" There was no reply from the other side of the door, save this: One absolute rascal of a fart.
