Nuts

Postby Damsel » Fri Nov 17, 2006 5:38 pm

What is your favorite nut? Do you like salty nuts? Mixed nuts?

When you go to a roadhouse, do you eat the peanuts and throw the shells onto the floor?

I prefer peanuts, which aren't actually nuts, but still.

And I toss them on the floor.

I like raw cashew, almonds and pistachio.

I`ll eat any nut but my favourate is pistachio as long as someone else pulls the shells off for me.
I don`t want to break my nails.
It was one of those perfect English autumnal days which occur more frequently in memory than in life.

I also love all nuts - especially the edible variety. I try to avoid the salty ones but they are rather moreish aren't they ? I think my favourites are cashews and pistachios.

I've never even heard of a RoadHouse and am a bit horrified at the thought of throwing the shells down onto the floor - presumably someone has to come along and sweep them up afterwards ? What a daft business or am I missing something *important* here  Is is done for the sound effects maybe ?

I took the bus to work the other day. It was full of mixed nuts.

Nuts are the work of satan. Why would you want to eat them? It's like chewing little bits of wood. :barf:

What do you expect in Seattle?

Walnuts are highly underrated, and make a nice stuffing.

My favs are pecans lightly salted and baked about ten minutes. I do like cashews which are also not really a nut but a cousin of the poison ivy family. Walnuts are delish, but I prefer them in baked goods, breads, cookies, etc.
