Favourite pie

What's your favourite 'hot and cold' pie filling?

I love cornish pasties for hot and lemon meringue for cold, makes me hungry even thinking about it. :hungry:

Would pizza count for hot?

As for cold, I have to go with Lemon merangue as well, although both chocolate and strawberry are very high up there.

Hot - cheese and onion pie (with just a hint of fresh chilli hehe)

Cold - apple pie with an egg washed pastry crust just like my m-i-l used to make..... yummy

Mmmmm, all this talk of pie has made me think I must make some pastry now......

I'm not a big pie fan, but I do love some really cold Key Lime pie in the summertime.
Hot pie? Not too much except maybe the occasional apple with a slice of sharp Cheddar.

Chicken pie or egg and bacon. or chicken. or egg and bacon. i can't decide. gotta be hot and cooked by my mummy though.

i don't like any cold pie.

Funny really cos i really should like all pie. i like pizza pie, but really thats about it.

I prefer pasties. especially ones with beans in.

Warm apple with vanilla ice cream, and pizza pie hot or cold. Leftover pizza for breakfast next morning is yummy! :hungry:

in my opinion a pizza really isn't a pie. it might be called a pizza pie but other than the fact it's usually round...it's got nothing else in common! hrmph! that's a cop out! :P

In that case, I'm with steak and ale. That's a quality pie.

I guess I am with meadow... a chicken pot pie for hot..
Americans do not have a wide variety of savory or hot pies...

As for fruit pie.....

almost any, except for strawberry .....or banana cream....

including coconut cream , lemon merangue...and key lime...

I LOVE pie!

there are a chain of restaurants here in America called Steak N Ale.

we here in America don't have much in the way of hot, savory pies. it's just not an American thing. which is sad cause pie should get all the attention it can! AHAHAHAA!!!

I guess my favorite hot pie'd be chicken pot pie. My favorite cold pie would be apple. What? I like my apple pie cold, thank you very much.
