the solution is easy, go to one of those places where they measure you, and custom make a bra, its worth the money, and avoids all math, measuring and stress.

I'm very good at determining the correct size by touch alone-- I don't even have to look.

are you sure, kilmer? Cup-size expands and becomes smaller also due centimiters around as well as the letters. (comming up are sizes used in europe) as an example D75 and D65 are not same cup sizes, even though both use D. D65 more eacuals the cup-size of B80. The diffrence is where the support string is put, and how long it is around.

the best way? go to the people who knows such and ask them to find you a bra. That is what I did, and it helped bigtime.

Silke, dear, I can prove it. Come to my place and remove your blouse and bra (and skirt, if you want). By touch alone I'll determine your bra size. If I'm wrong, I'll pay you a dollar.

I heard of that a long time ago, and the way I measured myself at home was the same way they did at the lingerie stores, so it was pretty accurate.

... so this post really has nothing to do with bra size anymore, but i'm going to conitnue talking about it anyway :). So I went to the store yesterday to buy a 34D bra and they had none (curse them!) so I tried on a 36D and it actually fits better. Go figure.

Stacko, that's just wrong. Why would you want to return to the original topic when we could discuss to manually measure Silke?

I used to have a hell of a time finding bras that fit...got to the point where I decided to go to a lingerie designer who specialized in mastectomy bras. Seemed like a good idea however I was so big (and so lopsided) that even she didn't have and couldn't get wires big enough to make anything for me. (I refuse to wear anything if it doesn't have an underwire).

Anyways, so I decided to get my breasts reduced. As I was being wheeled off to the surgery the surgeon asked me what size I wanted to be and given I hadn't seen my feet in years I had no idea what size would be good so I said to him," you're a man, a healthy handful."

Lucky for me, he had big hands.

Kilmer... I will do it for you but it will cost you more than a dollar. :woot2:
