I hate it when my tongue itches! Auuughhhhff!
I washed my hands so I could scratch it, but now all I can taste is soap!
And my tongue is still itchy!
Dammit!

Itchy tongue

Postby Makinamess » Tue Jul 11, 2006 3:31 pm

Yes, I've had an itchy tongue - apparently it was due to an allergic reaction to some food I ate (a meat by-product in case you are interested). I had eaten stuff that contained meat and I didn't know it had meat in it until my tongue decided to grow a white coat, grow a lot bigger and be very very itchy !! Plus my tummy decided that it didn't like what was inside it, so that stuff got rejected (errrr, do you guys get my drift now ??). Result = a mess plus a rather poorly Messie girl !!

Hmm.. maybe I'm allergic to something I ate.. I'll have to watch for that.

No.. and I'm not allergic to avacados.
I can't remember what I was eating earlier.. I hope it wasn't potatoes.. I love potatoes!

Have you tried using flea powder? I'm sure it'll help. *grin*

Wait, none of you, aside from vandal, have ever had your tongue just itch? Mine itches sometimes, just like my arm or knee might itch, and it's terrible!
Hope for the best. Expect the worst. Life is a play. We're unrehearsed.

Yeah, I'm sure if it happened often enough, I'd keep around a piece of sandpaper I could lick. haha..
