Nah, Mr P proved that the square of the hyptenuse was equal to the sum of the squares of the other two sides (of a right angled triangle). OK, I use this particular theory nearly every working day (and damn useful it is too - 3:4:5 for example) but for most folk, it just sort of goes over their heads..... sorry, time for you lot to duck down.... hehe.... now, where were we, oh yes, esoteric education .... OK, Sandra, come over here and I'll explain about differentiation and integration ..... soon to be followed by soil matrices and hydraulic jumps .... but not at the same time obviously) - time for me to shut up now probably...hehe

esoteric:

Intended for or understood by only a particular group: an esoteric cult. See synonyms at mysterious.

Of or relating to that which is known by a restricted number of people.

Confined to a small group: esoteric interests.

Not publicly disclosed; confidential.

so, in my case it would be a discussion about riveting 50mickey mouse 1 thou off the starboard horse collar with an AA480 c/s. or clecoing the kevlar to the o/b basket.

I found this :
Esoteric education, or inner education, begins with the most simple yet fundamental questions that are asked by every child: "Who am I?", "Where did I come from?", "Why am I me and not you?". In short it is to do with the mystery of being alive, in a human body, with such a grand capacity, yet dwarfed by the magnitude of the Infinite.

Esoteric education is a "drawing out" of a kind of knowledge that is inseparable from one's own being. It is not knowledge about something, although it might appear so, rather it is a kind of knowledge that is the inherent property of the thing in question. For instance, it is like the knowledge that water has of how to flow - its knowledge is identical to its own aqueous nature.

Good I can sleep tonight now :D

The word 'esoteric' simply means that which is inner, contrasted with that which is outer or 'exoteric'. Esotericism is therefore the body of knowledge or wisdom about all aspects of life which are within, behind, or beyond the outer appearance, form, or expression of life's many aspects.

Esotericism is fascinating, you should look into it more.
