Alright, new post. In this one, you post something that made you think "You gotta be f*cking kidding me!" (or something similar) recently. Here's mine:

It's snowing again! You gotta be f*ckin' kidding me! It's February 28, almost March! What the hell?! If this ruins my date tonight, I'm gunna wring someone's neck! STOP SNOWING ALREADY! Image

Having watched Bob Woodruff's near-miraculous return to ABC news, there was a feature last night that revealed how returning soldiers with traumatic brain injury aren't getting the care they need - one women has to "fight with" the VA just to get her son therapy. We have these young men and women with severe injuries coming home and they are getting sub-standard care in many cases - it's a real slap in the face! (I do understand, though - go to www.costofwar.com and see why there's not enough money to help these soldiers!)

Yesterday because of severe storms in the area, my boss let us leave 15 minutes early. It still took me over 45 minutes to drive home (less than 8 miles) because people do not know how the slow the f*ck down in a blinding rainstorm.

oh, and another one: we opted to eat out last night and chose Carolina Wings because my son had a citizens police meeting there. The hostess asked me how many (2) and smoking or non (non). She escorted to us to a booth that honest to God, a small child could not fit into. Now I am not a really large woman, but husband weighs over 200 pounds. I asked her to seat us at another booth, at which point, she signed LOUDLY and said "well, this booth is usually for larger parties" and walked off! I stood there for a minute while my husband went in search of the restroom. She came back with menus and THREW them on the table and asked for our drink order. I ordered a Heineken for hubby and water for me. These were brought out pronto. When my husband came back from the restroom, he said he had to walk about 60 yards (yes, 60 YARDS) to the mens room. It was not actually IN the restaurant, but down a long corridor behind another store in this strip mall. And there were several inches of standing water in the restroom. So I take a glance at the menu and told my husband, let's leave. He hollers "HEY MISSY how much do I owe you for the drinks?" She saunters back to the table and glares at me and says "IS THERE A PROBLEM??" well, yes, there is - the problem is your f*cking attitude I was thinking to myself, but I simply said "we've decided to dine elsewhere". Paid for the drinks and left despite the fact it was raining frogs, we drove across the street to Ruby Tuesday's.
So she got a job waiting tables with that attitude?
You've got to be f*cking kidding me!!

p.s. - I feel better now. I just called the general manager of the restaurant and dropped her surly ass in the grease. He promised me he would deal with it when she came in this evening. Nah na na na nana!

Wait staff all have their pet peeves.. it seems like that waitress' peeve was customers asking for a different table. haha.. maybe she had a bad day or something. You never know. I've bitten the heads off customers who didn't deserve it before.

One of my peeves is people asking for a rag (to clean up spills). Are you f*ckin kidding me? It's a bar towel, or a dish towel, not a "rag". If someone asks for a rag, I toss it at their face.

I have a new one. We have been without any power for the past seven hours; I can't remember that long in the past.

It started around noon. While it was light out, it was okay - we had shoveling to do. Then, when darkness fell, no opening the refrigerator (our choice), no flushing, no reading, no computers, no heat, no nothing! Arrrgh. I did light a wood stove, and I have one oil lamp, so we played a game of Upwords!

Things are back to normal now.

Just when I was ready to start singing in my band AND just before my three month anniversary with my gf I was run over by the f*cking flu! Can you believe that? It completely ruined my week.

One warm day does not a summer make (nor global warming).
Ya gotta look at a much bigger picture (without blinders on).

BTW, after today, supposed to be near 50 in a couple of days.

Two days of snow out of the whole of winter, and the temperature never really dropped below zero. You gotta be f*ckin' kidding me! I live in the north east of England, this is not normal!

I mean take today, 8th March. 11°C :!: That's like a summers day up here. What gives?

We have 13 °C today on the South Coast and you can really feel the sun and that`s unusual for us this early in the year too.
It was one of those perfect English autumnal days which occur more frequently in memory than in life.

Update (and another post here) - we're looking at a projected 20 to 30 BELOW zero tonight (wind chill) and maybe near 50 by Sunday. That's a possible 80 degree difference in two or three days.

We had a couple REALLY nice says lately. I walked down to the store without a jacket on, which I realized my wallet was in after I filled my basket and tried to pay. Are you f*ckin' kidding me?! I felt pretty foolish.
The next day was nice, too, and I casually remarked to my friend:

Me: "Wow.. two really nice days in a row."
Her: "Yeah, no kidding.. we're getting spoiled"
Me: "It'll probably snow tomorrow. haha.."
Her: "Actually, it's supposed to snow next week."
Me: "Are you fuckin' kiddin' me?!"

:thunderstorm:
