Please allow me to introduce myself.

I am Spilsbury & come in peace to join a site that has been highly recommended to me as being a place of intelligent but lively social intercourse. Coming as an orphan, knowing nobody, hardly knowing myself, I hope that you will clasp me to your bosoms at the same time pointing me in the right direction. I am extremely proud that I have been accepted as a member and hope that I can become a part of your cosmopolitan community. Thankyou.

oh my, what an introduction.
I was about to plough in as usual and start trawling through threads to see if I had anything productive to add, (shurrup Gill!) but then I was stopped by this thread - talk about creating a moment of silence when one makes themselves known!!

errrm so, where was I?

oh, right, that's it.. I was about to pop over to see what trouble I could stir in Legend's thread but I'll just say a quick hello before I leave.

Hellooooo!!! :welcome:

Thank you all kindly for the welcome.

Miss whiffy in answer to your question I am fairly new to the cyber world and have limited experience of sites. This is the first, however, I have tried that actually has a column where new members can introduce themselves. It is a great idea and is obviously why this site is so successful and spoken about.

Although new to this site should anyone have trouble relaxing, need soothing or generally wish to share a problem please contact me. I have no set religion but am a very spiritual person.

Thankyou again

Whiffey is the MAN

Postby Spilsbury » Thu Aug 17, 2006 3:07 pm

Well apologies. That is apologies to Mr Whiffy! I'm sure that he realises by putting a female picture as a profile picture then it could lead to confusion!

Believe me, if whiffey could see that in the mirror each day he'd be a very happy man (assuming she was standing next to him!) - bless!
