The main changes for me when I had my first baby was giving up work to be a stay at home mum.
Also, having to wake up during the night to feed her.

I suddenly also had someone else to take with me every where I went.
Everything was centered around the baby. The baby came first and that was fine by me.

The biggest joy was giving life to a baby that was part of me.That feeling has always stayed with me with all three of mine.
Seeing them take their first steps and saying their first word is also special.
Watching them grow is a joy.

I can`t really think of anything annoying because bringing up a baby was what I expected it to be although they cried quite a bit when they were teething but I used to buy them the teething rings that you put in the fridge first. It cools the gums down nicely.
It was one of those perfect English autumnal days which occur more frequently in memory than in life.

what a sweetie!

i'm doing a rerun as i'm living with my daughter who had a baby in march.

wow... now i know why you need to have babies when you're young, lol!

and they do cry a lot. daughter believes the websites telling that babies cry "just because", i say they cry "because" and am trying to find out why. funny thing, often i do find out why....

main thing of course is to keep one end wet and the other dry. :)

Well I have had babies at home.
My son is now 12.
I would say the biggest adjustment was finding time for me.
I would always be doing things for the kids (and still do).
You have to take some time for yourself.
Take care of yourself and then you can enjoy your family more.

I breast fed my child so that is also a big change.
I did use a breast pump and gave a bottle also.

Awww, she's beautiful! And I just love her name. I bet you're a very proud mama. Is it bad that I wanna talk baby talk by seeing her picture? lol

I tried to sign...but I'm not sure it worked...I can't exactly read what it said after I entered it. If not, I'll resign.

She is certainly a beauty Sandra.

My son is now a parent himself, so I get to enjoy my grandchildren and then send them home.

CONGRATS!!!! I just recently heard you had your little sweetie!!! She's beautiful! Being a mom is so different then I thought it would and it's always changing. I feel totally different about it then I did 6 mos. ago. It makes me feel so responsible yet so helpless. I worry more about him then anything in my entire life and usually it's over nothing. He's turning into such an awesome little man:)
