to bea honest I was more scared of what was getting put in the vodka

A Bloody Mary is a cocktail containing vodka, tomato juice, and usually other spices or flavorings such as Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce, beef consomme or bouillon, horseradish, celery or celery salt, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and lemon juice. It does not under any condition ever contain egg, scorpions or fecal matter.

cause it's a spicy, tasty, refreshing cocktail. suitable for hangovers the morning after. preferably during Sunday brunch out with friends. they are a big deal here in the States.

i'm not a huge fan cause i don't love tomato juice but otherwise it's pretty tasty with a good quality vodka.

I can drink about 80 of them in one sitting. To be honest, I prefer a sherry base to it.
Beef bouillon added I have never heard of, Bloody Mary that Mad Cow more like.
Despite all these exotic ingredients, none of them conceal the flavour of a bad cheap vodka, in fact they show it up. Smirnoff black or something similar (grey goose if I'm not mistaken madam?) really makes it.

Gin instead = Bloody Maria, also excellent. If you like liquid salads.

i would imagine it cures it by providing both hair of the dog and fruity juicy to provide nutrients lost through a heavy night on the sauce. Some ibuprofen and 2 litres of water before bed does the trick just as well. Although i keep forgetting to do that cos by bedtime i'm too lashed to remember.

I've a funny feeling I'd be sick, trying to keep that done with a hangover :barf:

sh!t load of sugar in all that fruit and vegetables. I feel much better the day after a night on the girl's drinks.

In fact, if I don't get hungover but I've been drinking quite heavily, I feel great the next day, better than normal.
