Seems someone wanted to make a statement to our new PM Gordon Brown.

Either that or keep the populace shitscared so as to allow evermore restrictive legislation enacted
It is a tactic used time and again to keep the peasants under control

Wait a minute, I thought there were no such things as terrorists; didn't you say that terrorists were something imagined by Bush and Blair?

This is awful.

I cannot comprehend how frightening this must be for Londoners.

I agree. Thankfully both bombs were discovered before the terrorists could remotely detonate them. The police are studying the CCTV images of both cars at the moment, and i will post whatever news comes to hand.

I don't think there will be much fear, we Brits are made of strong stuff. I still smile when i read the stories of commuters getting on busses and trains the day after the 7/7 terrorist attack. So i don't think the Diana concert or Wimbledon will be disrupted, a stiff upper lip comes in handy every once in a while. :D

Nope. Can't say it is much fun living in Central London right now.

this so sucks! when i was in london, my main concern was not to get run over by people driving on the "wrong" side of street...

it's not fair.
