Ayup. I been one my whole life. Started drawing comics when I was 12 or so.
I actaullay have a BA in Art- but not in comics because when I was in school, comics weren't considered to be art!

Nowadays they offer college classes in how to draw comics! Digitally if course. Whatever will they do next?

The characters you see on the deviantart page are ones I've be drawing since the 1980s! I didn't actually create them till I was out of college for a few years. I have them printed in a series of black and white comics= this is my first attempt to go digital with them!

I'm glad you liked them! Check back- I'm trying to put new ones every week...

I know I'm a procrastinator- the world's worst. But I'm trying to change. The devaintart website is such an attempt, and of course being here...say could we link that website as aspot to put my comics on line here? I don't know how all that stuff works...

Oh here's laugh! I was egosurfing on dogpile for anything about Harry Hamm- and I uncovered this:

if ya want to... we do one every 1st of the month - altho they get posted when ever we get to it... ok and we do them when ever we get to it too.

which also has an explanation of the concept and a recognition salute to the originator - which is to be a once a year thing... we just decided that once a year wasnt enough...

if you do one today (aug. 1st - or any time in the next month... or two...) i hope you'll post yours. - V.K. will help you with posting knowledge - just leave a note for her that you'd like to post yours - you can tell her i pointed you that way - or i can help you too. (V.K. started the blog) - you'd be welcome no doubt any time you wished to play. as you can see it's rough and raw "as-is" stuff and however you want to do it.

regardless - your stuff is awesomely done - create on!

My computer is so old- I have a hard time getting graphics without it freaking out- so i will ahve to wait till I get to the shiny new computers at my job before I can check this out. It's in fact thanks to them that I was able to uplaod dozens of pages to deviant art as I was.

But what I was able to see looks pretty cool! I may well do this as I need the media exposure...

a few people look in on it regularly - some comment - a lot comment else where (to me) - i wasnt able to get to mine today - it looks like it'll be next week before i am able to do mine. we're quite loose about it but once you've done a couple it gets to be a lot of fun. the first one i had to wonder if i could do it or not... right now i'm aiming at tues. or weds. next week for mine... then it takes me a day or two to get them up. so no real issue about timing. mostly just have fun. from what i saw of your work i have no doubt that you'll do just fine and then some. thanks for looking. have fun.

my theory about great and money and fame are that none of the aforementioned necessarily means the others follow or have to have any relationship to each other...

the way i see it... the greatest painter that ever lived (greatest anything can be substituted here of course) ...the greatest painter that ever lived probably was/is not known outside of their own little village someplace well unknown. and in that village they are probably not appreciated for their work at all but simply looked upon as "oh him/her? sure, i know them. a bit strange but mostly just odd. i have no idea what they think they are doing in life."

i still havnt gotten to MY HCD for august. but i'm hoping too soon... i've come to understand that creating IS and act of hope. i got a lotta hope to get going on...

in the mean time one of the people who do HCD - the owner - said they'd really like it if you joined the process. and they'd also like to see your work. so... i hope it's ok if i copy your url and post it on another site. if this is not ok, please let me know and i will remove it. i'm going to do it now because i dont know when i will get another opportunity... and because my understanding is you'd like people to see your work. i hope this is ok, please let me know if it is not and i will remove it immediately...

have fun. ...and if you're not having fun. create some. and if you're not going to create some fun... go kiss a balloon. . . (ok, that's my weird sense of humor)
