Not, not to me, although one (smooth headed Nev) is married to the photographer's sister.

Honest, Pillowcase, none of them are *strange* at all - and I know them all really well  I've spent many a happy holiday with these guys and a fair few drunken weekends, gigs, festivals and parties !

Trying to post a pic, here...if it doesn't show up, I'd muchly appreciate some advice on how to make these things work!

This is me after one of those long, twelve-hour shifts at the hospital. Yes, I AM pretty scary-looking at that point...but hopefully, I'll soon have a much better picture to post!

Sandrini - your picture is being hosted by Flickr and they do not allow direct linking. You created a hyperlink instead, whcih is good. If you want to show your pictures directly here, try storing them on PhotoBucket or some other server that allows direct links.

To post a picture on here from Photobucket, just copy the img tag and paste it here.
That`s all you do.
Don`t use the img tag here aswell.Just copy and paste.

Using BBCode for images

Post by Yogi »

Sandrini - this is the address (URL) for your image at PhotoBucket:

Code: Select all

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v36/salamandrina/288860960_e5c9ec1f3d.jpg

This is the URL at Flickr:

Code: Select all

http://www.flickr.com/photos/salamandrina/288860960/

NOTE: the PhotoBucket URL has a .jpg extension at the end while the Flickr one does not. Our BBCode requires images to have .jpg, .gif, or .png file extension. It does not know what to do with anything else.

The correct BBCode surrounds the image URL with tags like this

Code: Select all

[img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v36/salamandrina/288860960_e5c9ec1f3d.jpg[/img]

Perhaps the reason why it did not work for you is because you didn't copy it correctly. Here is the picture from PhotoBucket using the BBCode

Voila :!:

EDIT: Looks like Rusty may have figured it out for you
