That is a tough one... alone, it is a tough one...
add it to Autism or one of many syndromes and wow...

I know that you deal with it in daycare, too...

I agree.

I wonder why that is....
so many things that we hardly ever saw are now rampant....

some of it is due to now being recognized, and some to misdiagnoses...
some to being purposely misdiagnosed so the family can receive services...
( a whole different discussion!)

other times, I guess it just is what it is whatever it is called now..
or was called back then....

I think the problem is lack of boundaries, there are no consequences for bad behavior it starts at a young age and if you ask me just progresses and gets worse the older the kids get .. now unfortunately we have many adults with the same Oppositional Defiant Disorder ...I will do what I want when I want to whom I want when I want and there is nothing you can do about it . Adults humm maybe in age but no not adults really.

scary out there with half the population not giving a rats butt what they do or who the do it to..
The "SO WHAT " people of the world.. sad! and they come in all ages ..

wow, they really will lump any group of "symptoms" together nowadays and make it a "disorder" won't they? gee, i wonder what the bigger message is in that?

I would like to point out that most letter related disorders are the fault of Sesame Street.
