Can PITA match this?

If they swim, slither, prance, fly or just sleep on the couch with you, this is where you can tell us about your pets.

PITA can't match that, I'm afraid. She's become a bit of a couch potato-- she sits and stares at the TV and actually follows the onscreen action. I've tried to convince her to write ones of her own (it wouldn't be hard to best most of what's currently being broad- or cable-cast), but so far, no go.

One new thing that she's started-- she pulls my ashtrays off tables (I usually keep them emptied), pushes them into a corner, then scratches at the carpet and attempts to bury them.

Aren't piano wires made from catgut?

Violin strings are cat gut. Pianos have wires.

I wish that I could find it again, but years ago I had a cartoon showing guys that looked like the Beetles. One guy had an alley cat trussed into his bass Violin lengthwise instead of the strings, and was playing the cats belly with the bow. I found the cartoon in a magazine. :lmao1:

haha.. that's great! Adorable, and talented.
I loved the duet.. (I hope they remember to close the key cover at night to discourage any midnight maestros).

P.S. Violin strings are made of metal. There are some stringed instruments that use non-metal strings, but they're not made of catgut.. they're made of nylon.
