Here is a lovely Blotkake just for you. Happy Birthday, Silke.

Happy Birthday! Image
It was one of those perfect English autumnal days which occur more frequently in memory than in life.

"Silke" is a Norwegian word that means "having a great birthday".

Thank you everyone. It was great! I had my favorite dinner and went out with some family and friends afterwards...

...ofwhich two wanted to kill me and my sister. Why? I drank as much as them, she drank twice the ammount. She was as tipsy as them, and I didn´t feel athing. They said it wasn´t fair because they have been drinking for 16 more years than we have and we stand alcohol better than them. They are even guys and we females, and I´ve heard a roomer that men can stand alcohol better than women. ah well!
